General Returns Policy

Whether an item is returnable to EcoFriendOnline.com depends on the return policy of the vendor from which we purchase the product you order. More and more companies are not allowing returns or only accepting returns if the merchandise received is flawed. For some clothing vendors, for example, ordering apparel that ultimately does not fit the customer is not an acceptable cause for return.

If you have questions regarding a particular vendor’s return policy, please ask us at support@EcoFriendOnline.com prior to purchase.  Our return policies reflect those of each specific vendor’s in conjunction with their products.

For vendors that do allow returns, returns will most likely need to be returned to our vendor rather than to EcoFriendOnline.com.  Items should be returned in their original product packaging with receipt at your, the customer’s, expense. EcoFriendOnline.com will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. Contact us at support@EcoFriendOnline.com and we will guide you through the process.

Items That Are Not Returnable

While this list is not limited to all products considered non-returnable, consider the following a given:

  •  Food or beverage products.
  •  Most items that are returned more than 30 days after delivery.
  •  Any item that has obvious signs of use.
  •  Any item not returned in the condition it was received.

Exchanges

Returning Items You Didn't Order

If you received an extra item in a shipment, or items were delivered to you (or to your home) that you didn't order, please let us know. If you live in the U.S. we will have our vendor email you a call slip, a postage-paid return mailing label for the return.

At your earliest convenience, e-mail us at support@EcoFriendOnline.com and let us know:

  • the item(s) you incorrectly received,
  • your name,
  • your mailing address,
  • the tracking information from the address label on the outside of the package.
  • and the relevant order number for the other received items, if applicable.

Out-of-Stock Orders

Sellers work hard to ensure that stock is on hand for delivery, but now and then the availability of a listed item will change by the time an order is placed. Please know that while an occasional out-of-stock order is bound to happen, we do require our sellers to keep these to a minimum. If we find a seller's out-of-stock sales become problematic, we will take appropriate action.

Unreceived Orders

If you purchased your order on EcoFriendOnline.com and the estimated delivery date passes, please contact at support@EcoFriendOnline.com so we can initiate tracking for the lost shipment.

Return Policy for Specific Vendors

We have asked our vendors to provide us with their return policies for the benefit of our customers. The following have responded.

Achla Designs Achla Designs:  All returns require a Return Authorization number, which will be provided by calling 800-626-1114. All returns for unwanted merchandise are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. In order for credit to be issued merchandise must be returned in saleable condition. Drop ship fee and original freight cost are not refundable. All requests for Return Authorization must be requested within 15 days of purchase.  
   
Aguacate Aguacate:  Aguacate & Co. expects to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. If you are unhappy with your purchase we will gladly accept returns within 21 days from date of purchase for all individually purchased items, excluding any shipping costs. Please note that Aguacate & Co. will not accept returns nor grant refunds for trial size products, gift set purchases or individual items purchased as part of a gift set.

Annie's Sweatshop Annie's Sweatshop:  We want happy customers. For standard sized items, returns must be in it's original condition and resellable. contact us and we'll make arrangements. Refunds are made when we receive the item. We do not reimburse shipping fees (unless I made the boo-boo). Do not return your package COD (it will be refused). We will make every effort to make sure you?re satisfied.
   
Art Lives Studio Art Lives Studio:  Art Lives Studio publications, such as fine reproductions, note cards and catalogues / books may be returned undamaged up to 7 days after order is delivered for a full refund, minus shipping fees.  Original works of art are non-refundable.

Autonomie Project:  Returns accepted within 45 days of purchase. Product must show no signs of wear or use.

If an exchange is requested:
We will process the new order for the exchanged item(s) within 2 business days of receiving the return. We will ship the replacement item with no additional shipping charge. When the replacement item has shipped, the customer will be emailed a confirmation with an updated tracking number and the Autonomie Project customer account status will be updated.   Final approval of returns is subject to inspection for condition and suitability for restocking. Merchandise damaged in shipment must be reported to Eco-Products in one day of receipt and duly noted on all copies of the signed freight bill, in order to file a claim against the freight company.

Mountain Cat Trees Mountain Cat Trees:  Products must be unused condition free from scratches or cat hair. We should be notified of returns within 5 days of customer receiving the item and the product must reach us within 14 days. Customer pays for return shipping costs. We cannot accept returns if the product has been taken out of it's packaging and introduced to a cat. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on the basis that the cat is not using the product. Customer should keep original packaging to return an item. If the product has been damaged in shipment the customer should contact the retailer right away.

All of our products are guaranteed against structural defects and against breaking under normal use. The following guidelines must be followed: • The cat trees are designed to support cats of up to 25 pounds. • The products are for indoor use only and should not be placed in an area where they could get wet. • They should be kept away from extreme heat such as woodstoves or radiators. • Children should not climb on the cat trees. • The cat trees should not be carried or lifted by the platforms.

Since the cat trees are crafted while the tree is still green, it is possible that over time small cracks will appear in the wood of the tree as it dries. This is normal and will not affect the integrity of the cat tree.

Customers will be reimbursed if a product is found to be defective. We should be notified of returns on the basis of a defect within 5 days of customer receiving the item and the product must reach us within 14 days. Customer pays for return shipping costs. If a products fails in breaks under normal use we will refund the customer minus shipping costs.
   
Mountains of the Moon Mountains of the Moon:  If there is an unfixable problem with an item due to an error on our part, we will be more than happy to exchange the item or refund your money.  We do not offer cash/credit refunds unless there is something wrong with the item that cannot be fixed and/or the item cannot be replaced. If an item is the wrong size, we will gladly exchange it for the correct size. Please be sure to check sizing on clothing items before purchasing.  Detailed measurements for our clothing can be found by clicking on the item picture, and we are happy to answer any specific sizing questions. If there is an unfixable problem and you need to do a return, please contact us as soon as possible (we must receive the item back within 7 days of your receiving it). Custom orders can not be returned.
   
Naturenvy Naturenvy:  Naturenvy will issue a full refund to the original credit card for any unopened merchandise that is returned within 30 days of the date of purchase. Returned merchandise will not be accepted without a return authorization number (RA#). Customers should email Support@EcoFriendOnline.com to obtain an RA#. Naturenvy original invoice number is required. The RA# must be printed clearly on the outside of all boxes and pertaining documents. Returns must be shipped to Naturenvy, freight prepaid. All returns are subject to Naturenvy inspection. Naturenvy expressly does not accept responsibility for goods lost or damaged in transit. Any goods returned or refused may also be subject to a 15% restocking fee, unless cause for return was manufacturer's defect, Naturenvy caused damage or rendering the merchandise as unusable or unfit for sale. If there is a problem with your order, please call EcoFriendOnline.com within 5 days of receipt of shipment. Absolutely no returns will be accepted after 30 days.  
 
  You are responsible for inspecting your products after you have received them. We are unable to issue a refund simply because your pet did not like/use the item(s). Shipping charges are not able to be refunded.
 
  Returns must be in new condition in original manufacture’s packaging including all product information. 
 
  Any items returned that do not meet these specifications will be returned to you or discarded at no credit.

  Missing items should be reported within 72 hours of receipt of order at 888-805-0588. 
 
  MISSING/DAMAGE/DEFECTIVE:
  If your order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete or the wrong item was shipped, please save the carton and all the packing material as well as the item. Notify us immediately (within 5 days) at 1-888-805-0588 so we can instruct you on the proper handling of the merchandise. This will ensure the quickest replacement.
 
  DELIVERY PROBLEMS:
  In rare instances, there may be a problem with delivery. Most of the time, this is because the package was delivered to a side entrance instead of the main entrance and the customer is unable to locate the package. If you believe the package was not delivered to your address or have any other similar problems, please contact us within 5 days of when the package was supposed to arrive. Any longer delays may seriously hinder our investigation.
 
  SHIPPING REFUSALS:
  Don’t do it!! An order placed and shipped from our warehouse at your request is considered your responsibility as soon as it leaves our warehouse. Should you decide that you wish to refuse delivery of an item legitimately ordered from us; a credit will be issued for the item(s), minus shipping charges both directions and minus a 20% fee. To avoid extra fees, accept the order, leave the box sealed and call us immediately.

We accept order returns up to 30 days past the invoice date. We do not accept any returns after 30 days. In order to receive a FULL REFUND, it must be within 15 days. A 15% restocking fee applies to orders returned after 15 days of the invoice date and all opened items.

  You should return the item within 30 days of receipt. We do not accept returns for items that have been opened or used unless the product is damaged or defective.
 
  We will provide free shipping if your return is a result of our error. Otherwise you should:

  2.  Mail your item back using UPS/FedEx or registered mail. Please include a note detailing the reason for return. Once your return has been received, a credit or refund will be issued within 10 days.

Satori Movement Satori Movement:  A return of merchandise which is not defective may be made only upon a shipping error made by Satori Movement which is reported by the BUYER within five (5) business days after the receipt of goods, as described above.  A return of merchandise which is defective must be made within a reasonable time, but in all cases no later than within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of the goods by BUYER and only with proper authorization from EcoFriendOnline.com.  A copy of the customer’s sales receipt may be required as a prerequisite to acceptance by Satori Movement of the return.  Authorized returns must be sent to:

  All returns must have the Return Authorization number written legibly on the box or it will be refused by Satori Movement.  In the limited instance where Satori Movement, in its sole discretion, authorizes a return for a reason not listed above, such return will be subject to a 15% restocking fee per item.  BUYER shall be responsible for all shipping charges.

Urthbags:  Urthbags has a 5-day return policy during which a Customer may return an item that is undamaged, unworn, with tags still attached (at their own expense). Urthbags will also provide a return/refund policy for any damaged or defective items as long as any claims are placed within the agreed upon 5 days of the item being received. Urthbags will not provide any policy for any claims placed on an item after 5 days of being received. A return will not be accepted if a matching accessory is not returned with the product (if applicable).  The original receipt and a Return Merchandise form must accompany your return. Items marked CLEARANCE or SALE are FINAL SALE.

If you feel that a product you purchased was either defective or damaged, please contact customer service and we will assist you in correcting the problem or returning the merchandise. Our tough, durable Zogoflex products, the Hurley, Huck,Zisc and Bumi do come with a one-time replacement guarantee. Please contact customer service for more information on this guarantee. On beds and other toys, normal wear and tear or damage incurred by your pet’s play is to be expected, and therefore not covered under our guarantee. We recommend supervised play for all our toys.
